Epilepsia sa tradične považuje za rizikový stav pre vedenie motorového vozidla. Zlepšenie liečebných možností kontroly epilepsie, snaha integrácie do spoločenského života vedie k hľadaniu pravidiel odborného odporúčania k vydaniu vodičského oprávnenia aj pre pacientov, ktorí prekonali epileptické záchvaty. V komentári sa prezentujú názory a odporučenia výboru Slovenskej ligy proti epilepsii.
