Když se účinnost snoubí s efektivitou. BRIUMVI - nový impuls v léčbě roztroušené sklerózy

Na základě prezentovaných sdělení zpracovala MUDr. Zuzana Zafarová. Ublituximab (Briumvi®), monoklonální protilátka anti-CD20 třetí generace, je od ledna 2026 hrazený u pacientů s relabující-remitentní roztroušenou sklerózou (RRRS) s EDSS ≤ 5,5, kteří mají: a) známky nepříznivé prognózy onemocnění, tj. ≥ 1 středně těžký/těžký relaps při léčbě ≥ 1 lékem 1. linie, b) aktivní formu choroby, tj. 1 dokumentovaný a léčený relaps v předchozím roce nebo 2 dokumentované a léčené relapsy v předchozích 2 letech, a zároveň významný nález na MR (přítomnost T1 Gd+ léze anebo infratentoriální léze anebo spinální léze). Doložené účinnosti a bezpečnosti tohoto léku a jeho zařazení do léčby RRRS byl věnován seminář, který uspořádala společnost Neuraxpharm Bohemia s. r. o., 21. 5. 2026 v Praze. Pod předsednictvím prof. MUDr. Evy Kubala Havrdové, CSc., a prof. MUDr. Pavla Štourače, Ph.D., přineslo toto odborné setkání také shrnutí poslední revize McDonaldových kritérií z roku 2024, zkušenosti s léčbou ublituximabem v reálné praxi ve Španělsku, informace o fungování a plánech registru ReMuS, přehled lékových interakcí týkajících se přípravků podávaných v terapii roztroušené sklerózy (RS) i rady psychologa, jak předejít vyhoření při dlouhodobé práci s chronicky nemocnými pacienty. Přinášíme stručný souhrn obsahu tohoto semináře.
