Evokované potenciály v diagnostice roztroušené sklerózy mozkomíšní

Společně s klinickým neurologickým vyšetřením, vyšetřením mozkomíšního moku a zobrazovacími metodikami, především magnetickou rezonancí (MR), tvoří důležitou součást diagnostiky roztroušené sklerózy (RS) evokované potenciály (EP). I když je v současnosti větší význam kladen na magnetickou rezonanci mozku a vyšetření oligoklonálních pásů v likvoru, tvoří EP důležitou součást v diagnostickém procesu, zejména v časné diagnostice dalších lézí nervového systému, klinicky často němých. Cílem vyšetření EP je zachytit zpomalení vedení v centrálních úsecích některých senzorických a motorických drah a prokázat multifokální charakter postižení bílé hmoty.
