Možnosti ultrazvukové diagnostiky v oblasti orbity

Článek přináší současný pohled na některé možnosti ultrazvukové diagnostiky v oblasti orbity. Zabývá se nálezy u pacientů s optickou neuritidou v rámci demyelinizačního onemocnění, a to jak hodnocením struktury optického nervu v B-obraze, tak i hodnocením průtokových parametrů v oftalmické arterii u těchto nemocných v akutní i chronické fázi onemocnění. Připomíná využití UZ vyšetření při sledování nemocných s některými zejména benigními tumory v orbitě, které nejsou indikovány k operačnímu řešení, a rovněž přináší naše zkušenosti s vyšetřením pacientů s nitrolební hypertenzí a patologické nálezy, které jsme u těchto nemocných pozorovali.
