Traumata periferních nervů u dětí

Traumata různého typu a tíže se v dětském věku vyskytují velmi často. K poranění periferních nervů však ve velké většině nevedou a neurolog a rovněž elektromyografista se s traumaty nervů u dětí setkává jen zřídka. Nijak často neoperuje děti se zraněním periferních nervů a jeho následky ani neurochirurg. V práci je uveden přehled dětí s traumaty periferních nervů za období 5 let v EMG laboratoři (16 dětí) i přehled operovaných na neurochirurgii za 11 let (26 dětí). Diskuze je zaměřena na výskyt traumat jednotlivých periferních nervů, možnosti diagnostiky (klinický nález, EMG, zobrazovací metody), léčebný postup i na důležitost prevence.
