Neurofyziologická diagnostika – včera, dnes a zítra

Postupné zavedení neurofyziologické diagnostiky do rutinní neurologické praxe, k němuž došlo během dvacátého století, představuje jeden ze základních milníků v historii našeho oboru. První v neurologii široce používanou neurofyziologickou metodou se díky Hansi Bergerovi stala od 20. let minulého století elektroencefalografie (EEG). Tato, alespoň zpočátku, nalezla široké uplatnění v diagnostice celé řady fokálních i difuzních cerebrálních patologií – nádorů, cévních mozkových příhod, traumatických lézí, infekčních onemocnění CNS, epilepsií atd...
