Tardivní dyskineze - patofyziologie a klinické projevy

Tardivní dyskineze je mimovolní pohybová porucha vznikající nejčastěji při dlouhodobé léčbě klasickými neuroleptiky. Vzácněji může vzniknout spontánně, v průběhu psychotického onemocnění nebo být nepříjemným doprovodným příznakem některých somatických poruch (např. hormonálních, autoimunních). Tardivní dyskineze se klinicky projevuje abnormními choreiformními, atetoidními a balistikými pohyby rukou, nohou, trupu a především grimasováním v obličeji, žvýkáním, špulením či rytmickou protruzí jazyka. Pacientovo okolí vnímá tyto pohyby jako neúčelné, směšné či schválně přehráváné. Tardivní dyskienze pacienty sociálně omezuje a může přispívat ke zhoršení compliance, tím i k celkovému neúspěchu léčby.
