Elektrofyziologické dny v Chomutově se již nesporně řadí mezi tradiční akce a ty letošní se vyznačovaly podstatnými změnami. Z původně skromné skupiny elektromyografistů, kteří si chtěli neformálně prodiskutovat svou konkrétní praxi v EMG laboratoři a dovědět se nové informace a nové nápady pro svou práci, se postupně rozrostl počet příznivců tohoto setkání až na 90. Proto se letos poprvé odehrával páteční - teoretický či přednáškový - program v městské knihovně (původně část komplexu Jezuitského kláštera). Druhou změnou byl i počet EMG přístrojů - pracovišť k sobotní praktické části programu. A třetí změnou byla i účast dalších odborníků - zejména neurochirurgů - na tomto setkání.

Základem chomutovských elektrofyziologických dnů je určité zopakování stavu problému, který elektromyografisté zvládli v základním kurzu v IDVZ, a v navázání na něj novými informacemi. Tématem letošních dnů byly úžinové syndromy.
